The core of the door is tubular chipboard and hard wood is used for stile and rails. The wooden frame pressed bilaterally with HDF, which has an intermediate lead layer. The door edges are covered with beech veneer 1mm thickness.
The doors have holes for lock, heavy duty hinges and handle. The lock is specifically designed for radiation protection door. The hole for the knob is in a different location (off center) so that the radiation cannot go through.
